Yo-Han has his father of clergyman, and enters a divinity college. Owing to his freedom seeking nature, he is absent from the college temporarily and enters the US Army's Korean assistance military unit. After finishing military service, he works as a teaching staff at the US Army's Education Institute in Korea. When he is elected to be a teaching staff at military school in USA, he is in a hurry to get married. Unfortunately, he loses sight suddenly, so that he feels much disappointed and attempts to commit suicide. Then, he experiences to hear the Heaven's speech together with glaring light. Since then, he realizes his wrong doings and recovers courage. He visits the Seoul Railway Station and becomes friendly with a shoeshine boy (Jin-Yong). At last, he realizes what he has to do. While looking for the way how to attend divinity school, he gets help from the Helen Keller Foundation in USA to operate a church for the blind.
